The Five Doors.
Five practical pathways through which we aim to open opportunity, strengthen communities and restore dignity.
Explore the doors ↓Sometimes changing a life begins with something remarkably simple.
A meal. A safe place. A pair of trainers. A coach who believes in you. A helping hand when life becomes difficult. Or an opportunity that simply wasn't there yesterday.
The Five Doors represent the practical areas through which the Edwards Open Door Foundation is being developed to support children, families and individuals facing disadvantage, hardship or crisis.
Five ways to open opportunity.
Each door represents a practical pathway towards a more secure, confident and dignified future.
Nourish
Helping ensure no child goes hungry simply because school is closed.
Nourish is about responding to one of the most fundamental needs: food. The aim is to provide practical support where children and families face food insecurity, particularly during periods when usual sources of support may not be available.
Explore Nourish →Opportunity
Creating access to sport, exercise, coaching and experiences for young people whose potential may otherwise remain undiscovered.
Opportunity is about creating access to experiences that can build confidence, discipline, skills and ambition. Through sport, coaching and participation, we aim to help young people discover possibilities beyond their current circumstances.
Explore Opportunity →Community
Developing Access Hubs: welcoming places where food, activities, sport, support and opportunity come together.
Community is about creating places where people feel welcome. Access Hubs are intended to bring practical support, connection and opportunity together in accessible community spaces.
Explore Community →Dignity
Providing carefully targeted support to help people facing genuine hardship regain stability, confidence and self-respect.
Dignity means recognising the person behind the circumstance. Support should be thoughtful, targeted and practical, helping people navigate difficult periods while preserving independence and self-respect.
Explore Dignity →Respond
Supporting communities affected by humanitarian crises with fundamental needs including food, clean water, shelter and essential assistance.
Respond is about acting when circumstances become critical. The focus is on fundamental needs and practical humanitarian assistance for communities affected by crisis, displacement or disaster.

We don't believe where someone starts in life should determine where they can finish.
